I’m taking part in ActiveApril for Bowel Cancer UK and raising money to help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

The money I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

Fox Trail 41km hike

Monday 21st Apr

I'll be taking part in the Fox 41K trail (The Fox 41K - RunThrough Trails - Trail Running Events UK & Europe) on Saturday 24th May in support of my friend Beth (Swifty) Fletcher and Bowel Cancer UK.

It's a 41 km trail run/ walk through the Surrey hills (which I think I'll be mainly "fast-walking") in aid of a fantastic cause.

Beth is a real inspiration - she's been battling her own cancer diagnosis and is raising money via her "No if's, no Butts !" fundraising team.

Bowel Cancer UK are the UK's leading bowel cancer charity which is focused on saving lives and improving the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.
