ActiveApril competition rules

These rules (“the rules”) apply to ActiveApril competition (the “Competition”), and by taking part in the competition you are agreeing to comply with them, and confirm you satisfy the terms and conditions below.

ActiveApril is organised by Bowel Cancer UK (Registered charity number 1071038 (England & Wales) and SC040914 (Scotland).

This prize draw is administered solely by Bowel Cancer UK and is not affiliated with Fitbit in any way.

Prize

• The prize purchased by Bowel Cancer UK consists of the following item only: Fitbit ‘Inspire 3’ activity tracker.

Participant entry

• Participants aged under 16 years old must have permission from an adult to take part.

Competition rules

• Only entrants who are fully registered for ActiveApril 2024 are eligible to take part in the competition.
• A minimum of £50 raised in fundraising sponsorship per fundraising page by 11.59pm on Monday 1 April 2024 is required to be eligible for entry into the competition.
• The minimum £50 raised in fundraising sponsorship is required to be added to the participant’s official ActiveApril 2024 Funraisin sponsorship page by 11.59pm on Monday 1 April 2024.
• Competition closes for entry at 11.59pm on Monday 1 April 2024. Any donations made after this date and time specified will not be taken into consideration and will not be eligible for this competition.
• Fundraising donations should not be transferred between participants, please contact us should you need to withdraw from the ActiveApril event. Please contact the Bowel Cancer UK Events Team who will be happy to assist you on 020 7940 1769 or at events@bowelcanceruk.org.uk
• Donations on Team fundraising pages are eligible for entry, but only one winning prize as stated above will be available, no matter the number of participants in the team.
• All entrants will be assigned a number at random and the winner will be drawn using a random number generator on Tuesday 2 April 2024.
• The winner will be displayed on the ActiveApril webpage by 4pm on Tuesday 2 April 2024.
• The winner will be notified by email and phone call by the Bowel Cancer UK Events Team, on Tuesday 2 April 2024.
• Should the winner not accept the prize by Friday 5 April 2024, then the prize will be reallocated to the competition and a new winner will be drawn at random. The stated rules will apply to the new draw.
• Should the winner be an employee of Bowel Cancer UK who is taking part in ActiveApril, the prize will be reallocated, and a new winner will be drawn at random.
• The prize cannot be exchanged for another item or exchanged for cash.
• The prize will be posted by Bowel Cancer UK directly to the winner by Wednesday 10 April 2024 using signed for recorded delivery with Royal Mail delivery service.
• The winner agrees to share a suitable address with Bowel Cancer UK to receive their prize.

Advertising of stated competition.

• All ActiveApril 2024 participants will receive details of the competition, including link to the rules and how to take part, upon registering for the event to the email address supplied upon sign up.
• All advertising will abide by the rules indicating clear ways to take part and including a link to the rules.
