I'm fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and they are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

I’m diving into the Swim15 challenge this August. I am aiming to swim 5km and row/erg double the remaining distance to complete the Swim15 challenge.

I’m not asking for donations, but I’d love your help in raising awareness and spreading the word. If you want to donate, that is awesome, but not expected at all. Any money I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

Bowel cancer is the UK’s second biggest cancer killer, but with early detection and proper support, it is preventable and treatable. By supporting Bowel Cancer UK, we can fund crucial research, offer vital patient support, and advocate for improved care.

This disease doesn’t discriminate; it can impact anyone, regardless of age or health.

Together, we can make a difference. Please find out more about what Bowel Cancer UK does by clicking on their logo!

Thank you!

10km on the erg 10km in the pool

Friday 23rd Aug
I smashed my swimming target so have only needed to complete the last 5km of the Swim15 challenge instead of 10km. I also hit my fundraising target thanks to my supporters. The aim was never to fundraise, but to get moving and spread awareness about this amazing organisation!
Thanks to everyone who’s been following along and cheering me on. It means the world.
