I completed my challenge on August 31. I was filled with so many emotions. The reason that I started this journey was for someone very special to me, the closest person in my life. My constant 🦋 she was so proud of me for doing this challenge, and even donated to it herself. Unfortunately we lost her on 28 July 2024. She battled this awful illness, she proved to me and my family how strong she truly was. I will forever be grateful for the love and the life that she gave me. Grateful for how strong she was during her final months. Grateful to have known such an amazing woman, and to have her all to myself for 24 years. I love you, and I miss you. This is for you 🦋💛

Why am I swimming 15 Km?

Cancer, like many, has unfortunately affected my family more than once. Witnessing a loved one fight this battle is heartbreaking and leaves a lasting feeling of helplessness. But I can channel that feeling into action. That's why, by swimming 15 Km this summer,  I'm fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK, a charity dedicated to supporting patients and families while funding crucial research for a cure. Every donation, big or small, fuels their fight. Please consider joining me by contributing to my fundraiser – let's turn this feeling of helplessness into hope.
