I'm fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and we're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

I’m diving into Swim15 this August and raising money to help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. The money I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all. 

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.

I've done it!!!

Wednesday 14th Aug
10 days, 250 lengths, 5k and almost £200 raised.
Thank you to everybody to supported me and to those who sponsored me.

I'm very happy and a little tired.

Saturday 10th Aug
Today I completed my 200 length.
I have 50 left to go.

I'm doing this to raise funds for the three relatives I have that have been affected by bowel cancer. 
They are all at different stages of their journeys and this is the only way I can think of to help.

Big swim

Tuesday 6th Aug
Yesterday I completed two swims. One with mum and one with the swim club I'm in.
In total I completed 55 lengths yesterday.
That's my biggest swim so far and now I've completed 115 lengths out of the 250 I need to do.

Third Swim

Sunday 4th Aug
I had a day off yesterday and did a park run instead but today I'm back in the pool and I've completed another 20 lengths.
I've swam 60 lengths in total so I'm now under the 200 mark with only 190 lengths to go.

Hello everyone 
This morning I completed my first swim.
I managed 20 lengths which in our local pool is 400 meters. Only 230 more lengths to go.
