I'm fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK
As most of you are aware I recently kicked cancers butt and am now officially in remission. However I’m very much wanting to raise awareness and support wherever I can so I’m taking part in ActiveApril for Bowel Cancer UK and raising money to help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
The money I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.
I’m going to be getting active every day in April, please support me and donate today.

Wednesday 16th Apr So we’re now half way through the challenge and what lovely weather we’ve had so far to be able to get most of the daily walks done outside. I’m still doing my PT sessions once a week and even managed a gym workout with Luke over the weekend. Please keep the donations coming in, even if it’s a £1. Everything helps towards raising awareness and research of this awful disease that is hitting people younger and younger. Thank you xx Share
One week in
Monday 7th Apr One week into the challenge and I’m loving it so far. I’ve been walking on my pad, doing my PT sessions and also enjoying the sunshine and walking over our local country park. With all the extra movement and also being careful with my food intake I’ve managed to also loose 3lb which I’m buzzing about as I’m struggling to loose anything since finishing chemo and also navigating weight loss with a stoma is a bit tricky. Almost time to get cracking
Monday 31st Mar So tomorrow is the day I start my challenge. Looks like it’s going to have to be a simple walk on my walking pad or outside as I had a small surgery today to remove my portacath and I’m in a little pain with the incision.
