I'm fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK

I’m taking part in ActiveApril for Bowel Cancer UK and raising money to help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

The money I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

I’m going to be getting active every day in April, please support me and donate today.

Went on the treadmill twice today and a lunchtime walk in the woods. I'm so grateful I'm healthy and able to move so freely.

I really struggle getting to the gym, out of poor worry that I'll be judged. I'm so happy that Active April has opened that door for me. Every time I struggle to get motivated I remember the money I'm raising and keep going!

Great activities today with the little one. Treadmill, weights, lunges and lots of fun. Finished with a lovely half an hour walk to get the last steps in.

Walked to the Sport Campus today, which was another 50 minutes added to my movement.

Picked the kids up from school and went to the park for football and tag!

Saw my nieces at the park and my eldest even went out on her bike!

Why am I doing this?

I recently had a cancer scare and had to have tests to rule out bowel cancer. Luckily, I am fine, but all the research I did, and the fear I felt really hit home.

I would love to raise money for people who are suffering with this disease.
