I'm fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK

I’m taking part in ActiveApril for Bowel Cancer UK and raising money to help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

Having been diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2022 I know how important it is that this charity is supported.

I had a colostomy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, an operation to remove the tumour, the colostomy changed to an ileostomy during the op and reversal of the ileostomy at the end of September 2024. I am working to get my fitness back it’s been a long road but I have been determined to beat it. I had my annual check ups in March and all are clear.

The money I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

I’m going to be getting active every day in April, please support me and donate today.
