I haven’t been updating very much but I’ve been going on walks every single day! The past couple of days have been a struggle in 24degrees heat I must say but I’m not moaning😂

Tomorrow is the last day of #ActiveApril and I’m gonna try push myself to do over 30,000 steps and go on a big walk as it’s the final day ✨✨

My dad’s still fighting everyday and making us all so proud! He had his PET scan last week which told us the cancer hasn’t spread thankfully which is some good news amongst many months of bad news🥲 

But still one day at a time, you got this 💪🏻✨

Well I must say hats off to anyone whose living with bowel cancer or has a family member with bowel cancer as it isn’t for the faint hearted. My dad was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer in January and it’s been pretty challenging. My dads been in and out of the hospital since December but Friday we was told the worst possible news. Not only did he prove all the doctors wrong he also didn’t give up fighting and he’s still here to tell the tale ✨

Everything he’s been through and continuing to go through he’s been so brave and I couldn’t be more proud! 

Well done to everyone so far that’s doing #ActiveApril and keep going ✨💪🏻

Walked home from the hospital and it wasn’t as far as I thought!

Been at the hospital for a few days so not managed to get proper walks in but still been getting in my steps just not my usual 20,000+ 


Day 2

Wednesday 2nd Apr
Not as good as day 1 but still went for a walk and did a total of 19,080 steps today! Spent a good few hours with my dad🤍🤍

Day 1: 

Went to work, went to visit my dad and then went for a 3 mile walk around the river. Did a total of 21,032 steps today.. let’s see if I can top that tomorrow

Wednesday 26th Mar
My dad was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer January 2025. These last few months have been the most difficult times we’ve had to face as a family.. I want to do my bit and raise money for Bowel Cancer UK and try to push myself.

The last few months have taught me to always cherish your loved ones, never take life for granted and never ignore the signs.  🤍
