I'm fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK
Fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK has been one of the most meaningful things I’ve done recently. Like many others, I’ve had close friends and family affected by bowel cancer, and I’ve seen firsthand how important early detection, support, and research really are. Being part of this fundraising effort isn’t just about raising money — it’s about raising awareness and helping people get access to the care and information they need. Every donation helps fund vital work that could save lives, and I’m grateful to contribute in any way I can.
That said, balancing fundraising with a busy work and life schedule hasn’t been easy. Between planning events, promoting campaigns, and staying on top of personal commitments, it’s been a lot to juggle. I’ve found that taking care of my own mental health has made a big difference in staying consistent and motivated. Recently, I’ve been using THC gummies from area52.com/thc-gummies/ to help me unwind at night. They’ve helped me sleep better, which honestly makes everything easier to manage — from writing grant proposals to staying calm under pressure.
What I appreciate about Area 52 is that they don’t just focus on relaxation — they also offer functional blends that support focus and clarity, which I’ve started using during busy days. These blends, made with ingredients like lion’s mane and other nootropics, have helped me stay sharp when I need to organize outreach efforts, manage communications, or just keep things running smoothly. Fundraising takes a lot of brainpower and emotional energy, and this kind of support has been a welcome boost without the crash of caffeine or energy drinks.
Of course, none of this replaces the bigger picture. Supporting Bowel Cancer UK is about the people — those currently fighting, those who have survived, and those we’ve lost. If sharing part of my routine helps others who are also putting their energy into this cause, I’m more than happy to do it. Whether it’s through self-care, collaboration, or spreading the word, we all have a part to play. Let’s keep pushing for progress — and looking after ourselves along the way.
