I'm fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK
I’m taking part in ActiveApril for Bowel Cancer UK and raising money to help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
My partner was diagnosed in July 2022 and commenced a gruelling and brutal treatment plan which involved radiotherapy, chemotherapy and multiple surgeries. It was tough to witness what he went through and although he has been fortunate to have been given the all clear, bowel cancer has changed his life forever.
The money I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.
