I'm fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK
I’m taking part in ActiveApril for Bowel Cancer UK and raising money to help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
In January 2024 I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. After 5-weeks of daily chemo and radiotherapy and a bowel resection operation with temporary stoma I got the all-clear in October 2024. I had my stoma reversed in January 2025 and am gradually getting myself back to being as fit and active as I was before.
The money I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.
