I'm fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK
As some of you know in 2024 I was diagnosed with Bowel cancer, something that came out of the blue and changed our lives forever. Due to the amazing care of the NHS I had major surgery to remove the tumour which was very successful and no additional treatment was needed due to it being caught early. This year is now about getting outside, being thankful and getting fit and and strong which is why we are taking part in ActiveApril for Bowel Cancer UK and raising money to help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
Every day in April we will commit to walking , planking, and generally getting outside to be active!
The money we raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.
