It was a massive shock last summer for my partner to have a stage 4 diagnosis aged 43 #nevertooyoung

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. It's the first website I looked at after the diagnosis to find out more about what was happening. Your donation helps them support patients and families like us, fund and support research, support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable. Know and share the symptoms shown on the charity's website.

🎁Happy birthday to me from NHS who sent my FIT (poo test) being posted back today.

I'm looking forward to line dancing in Chinese, Rockfit and getting ready for the finale piece... sugar plum fairy.

🌟Chatted with worried people about their husbands poo,

🌟listened to the BBC Radio 4 interview with Adele Roberts about her bowel cancer experience (Ben Elton brought up marathon runners in banana outfits)

🌟 Channelled Bob Geldof's infamous quote at 'Live Aid' if you know it 😉

I have been encouraged to increase the target to £2,000. Yikes! Come back next week ... Will I manage the Sugar Plum Fairy? -double yikes 😁❤️

Thank you so much for your generosity. Your donations really motivate me to push myself in this challenge. The activities vary depending on my day. I love having your songs to keep me going. Today I cleaned the car to the tune of Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor. 😂 I'll keep updated the playlist (in Updates) with new suggestions over the month.

A photo of my and William's boots in use - 1 hour of walking plus first use of the walking machine in the garage with the song nominated by William. Your amazing generosity and support has inspired me to get up out of my favourite chair. Thanks everyone. I'm quite unfit, have arthritis and am lazy! I want to raise funds for bowel cancer research for patients and families like us, and find ways creative and manageable ways to be active for me. It's so great to have you alongside me.
