I’m taking part in ActiveApril for Bowel Cancer UK and raising money to help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

The money I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

I’m going to be getting active every day in April, please support me and donate today.

After being diagnosed with bowel cancer in Jan 2024, I underwent emergency surgery 3 days after diagnosis as the tumour had blocked my bowel. This was major surgery and life changing with having a colostomy! An incredibly tough 6 months of chemotherapy followed. I am now recovering, both physically and mentally, but getting stronger and back at work and cherishing time with family and friends.

I wanted to give something back and raise some money for Bowel Cancer UK, so I am thankful for anything at all you can give to help this great cause and to help others!
