We're fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK
Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and we're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
The Stoma Nurse specialist Team and Cancer Nurse Specialist team are aiming to spread awareness surrounding Bowel Cancer this April. We spend our working lives dedicated to helping our patients and their families in their cancer journey. We believe that education and awareness play a vital role in early diagnosis. We are going to be taking on many challenges.
We will be doing lots of fun things including; Bake Sale, Sponsored Silence, Covering 630 Miles between all nurses, Sponsored Swim.
We are taking part in ActiveApril and raising money to help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. The money we raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.
Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.
