I’m fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK
As many already know, I lost my dad to bowel cancer almost 10 years ago now, when I was 16. Since then I have always tried to part take in fundraisers such as the macmillan coffee morning. However, this time I wanted to do something different and thought this would be the perfect fundraiser. I just simply want to help those going through a difficult and very sad time within their life as I know how hard it can be.
So, I’m taking part in Walkies Together this September with my little Maeve, to raise funds and help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
I would appreciate any type of support towards me & my fundraiser, every little makes a difference.
Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.
The funds I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.
