I'm fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK

Bowel Cancer is a cause close to my heart, 3 generations of women in my family have had it, my mother being a survivor of the disease thanks to the research and support that goes on to find cures and treatments.

My next swim challenge is supporting Bowel Cancer UK. It is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity who are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

Every 15mins someone is diagnosed with Bowel Cancer, so I’m committing to Swim15 this August and raising money to help support the charity and do my bit to help those affected by bowel cancer. The money I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.

Thank you to anyone who can spare a £1 towards this really great charity.
