Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and we're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

I’m taking part in Walkies Together this September to raise funds and help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Please support me and my fundraising.

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.

The funds I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

Saturday 31st Aug

Along with my Mam, Dad, Kenzie and our golden retriever, Maple, we will be walking 43 miles throughout September to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK. This is a cause very close to our hearts after my Dad, Derek, had Bowel Cancer 20 years ago. We want to raise awareness about this disease and its symptoms and that it can happen to anybody. My Dad was 36, fit, healthy and played football 3 times a week when diagnosed, his only symptoms were feeling cold, tired and when checked by the doctors he was severely anaemic, which led to further testing and his diagnosis. He’s now 20 years clear!
