I’m fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK
Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and we're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
When a young group of friends get the devastating news that one of them has been diagnosed with stage four cancer at the age of only 28, you have to find strength, build an army and fight it. For her, for ourselves, for her family especially her gorgeous little boy at the tender age of 3 years old.
This is the situation Kelly’s Army found ourselves in back in 2017. Kelly was always stunning, witty, funny, crazy at times, but she is now so much more. Her strength was incredible and she was an inspiration to many. Her aim was to raise as much awareness that you are #Never2young and help as many people going through similar circumstances. She had major bowel surgery and underwent chemotherapy treatment, but lost her fight on 13th June 2020.
I’m taking part in Walkies Together this September to raise funds and help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Please support me and my fundraising.
Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.
The funds I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.
