I’m fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and we're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

I’m taking part in Walkies Together this September to raise funds and help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Please support me and my fundraising.

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.

The funds I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

Monday 30th Sep

Challenge complete🙌🏼 what a month it has been! We managed 46miles altogether, the weather was quite temperamental (too hot or too wet!) so I hoped we would do more but we still did it! Shade has enjoyed every walk and I’ve loved being able to give back by raising awareness and money and hope to make even the smallest difference. Well done to everyone that took part, same again next year!👋🏼🥾🐾

Sunday 22nd Sep

Shade had his best friend Rudy to help him out with his walkies yesterday. The boys can just go and go! They are the cutest in their matching bandanas and will be back together next weekend to complete the walkies challenge.

Half way there!

Sunday 15th Sep

Half way through the month and miles! The weather has not been on our side the past 2 weekends so not done as many miles as I thought we would have at this point but they all add up. We enjoyed a hot tub holiday away this weekend filled with walks, animals and relaxation. Let’s hope we can get many more miles in the upcoming weeks!🥾🐾

Weekend treats!

Saturday 7th Sep

A couple miles throughout the week then back to the big ones for the weekend! This afternoon we walked into town and back to pets at home for some treats and a Halloween bow tie👻🎃

Monday 2nd Sep

Both me and Shade have recovered from our HUGE walk yesterday but have stuck to 2 smaller walks round the block. Miserable weather but it wouldn’t stop us🌧️💪🏼

Sunday 1st Sep

Our first day of fundraising was a big one! 7 mile walk around Macclesfield Forest🌲🏞️ The most loveliest walk with the most perfect company. This was Shade once we finished up at the pub for a well deserved drink!
