I’m fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK in memory of my dad

It's been a year since I lost dad to bowel cancer and I have decided to take on this challenge in his memory to hopefully raise funds and raise awareness to help towards saving others from going through the same thing.

I chose the amount of £213 to cover one lot of everything mentioned below. If I can raise this, or more it will help towards keeping another person, another family, from the heartbreak we've endured.

£9 for an awareness talk, £20 towards essential safety equipment for experiments, £51 to help campaign for early diagnosis and £138 to help pay for a day of support from a research nurse to coordinate a patient study.

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.

The funds I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.
