I’m fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and we're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

I’m taking part in Walkies Together this September to raise funds and help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Please support me and my fundraising.

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.

The funds I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

Little Luna and I are walking 43 miles this month (we hope to do lots more) for Bowel Cancer UK - sadly every year 43,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer

✨ Early diagnosis saves lives ✨

Know the symptoms of bowel cancer:

✨ Bleeding from your bottom

✨ Blood in your poo

✨ A change in how often you poo, or regularly having diarrhoea or constipation

✨ Losing weight but you’re not sure why

✨ Feeling very tired all the time but you’re not sure why

✨ A pain or lump in your tummy

Please, please, please speak to your GP or find an at-home test if you have any of the above symptoms no matter your age.

Bowel cancer can affect anyone of any age.

More than 2,600 new cases are diagnosed in people under the age of 50 every year.

1 in 17 men and 1 in 20 women will be diagnosed with bowel cancer during their lifetime.
