I’m fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and we're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

I’m taking part in Walkies Together this September to raise funds and help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Please support me and my fundraising.

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.

The funds I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

As you know this is all about raising some much needed funds for one of the many UK cancer charities I hope to support. Personally cancer has had a devastating impact on my beautiful family this year and fundraising is the absolute least I can do. I do this in honour of each and every one of the people I love who have been affected by the cruelty of cancer 🖤

So plan wise… I am hoping to achieve the 43 mile goal by walking a little over 1.43 miles each day in September. If for any reason there comes a day I am unable to get out, I will double the length of my walk the next day! Here’s hoping we get better weather in September than we’ve had in August, or Ember will be sending me off alone! 🤣🖤
