I’m fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and we're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

I’m taking part in Walkies Together this September to raise funds and help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Please support me and my fundraising.

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.

The funds I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

Since the first off September I have walked 166 miles including my work days but outside off work I have also completed my challenge off 130 miles outside off work days . I would like to thank everyone who has sported me in my challenge and together we have raised our target thank you all again

I have walked 146 miles in the month off September and this I also with 3 days off been ill poor wee Hamish has loved it but he's now enjoying his sleep haha

After 3 day off been ill with gastroenteritis and dropping 20lb from not eating we are back at it first day eating again and back doing my walks with Hamish

ABIT about me and why

I have been challenging myself to do 300000 step challenge each month for the past couple off month myself with the help off my furry friend Hamish . So for month off September I would like to do this to help raise for Bowel Cancer UK. This challenge is personal to me and my fiancé. We’ve both lost our Grandads to this horrible disease.

This step challenge is also helping me prepare for major open heart surgery later in the year. With the help of our Labrador Hamish, I plan to be as fit and strong as possible for this. Your help in keeping me motivated and raising a few pennies along the way really means a lot. Thanks in advance.
