I’m fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK
Happy to announce that Sunday and I will be walking 43 miles (whew) during September in support of bowel cancer awareness! Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.
As many of you know, my mum has been part of a CNS team specializing in lower GI cancers for years now, and part of this is in her honour, as I've seen first hand the work, dedication and passion she puts into treating those suffering with bowel cancer with kindness, compassion and thorough thoughtfulness. If you're not donating for me, donate for her and her team, and for all NHS staff who go above and beyond for us every single day.
The funds I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all. Thanks!

A great cause Allie. Unfortunately I know two people who were diagnosed with this horrible disease but thankfully they have come through the other side and are still with us❤️
