I'm fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK by swimming 15km in August.

My Dad was diagnosed with an aggressive bowel cancer in November 2020 and in February 2021 we lost him.  I’ve had and have friends affected by the disease far too young. Even when you come out of surgery and treatment it still impacts your every day life.   

I’m raising money for Bowel Cancer UK, the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. The money I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all. 

Someone is diagnosed with bowel cancer every 15 minutes. It is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.
