April 2025

Next spring we need you to join in ActiveApril.
It's simple. Do something active every day for the whole of April and get sponsored.

You decide what to do. It could be cycling round the park or doing keepy-uppies in the garden, puffing to the top of your nearest hill – or even to the top of the stairs. You don’t need to be a superhero (but you will be to us!).

When: Tuesday 1 April to Wednesday 30 April 2025

Sponsorship target: £125
Splash into action next August and set your own challenge for the month using the number 15. Whether that's swimming for 15 minutes every day, swimming for 15 days or racking up 15km during the month, every stroke matters.

Why? Because every 15 minutes someone is diagnosed with bowel cancer.

If you have any questions about Swim15 please email us.

Paws at the ready! Walkies Together is back for 2024 and we're asking you to walk 43 miles with your furry friend during September, or set your own distance for the month.

While putting your best paw forward, you'll help support the 43,000 people diagnosed with bowel cancer in the UK each year.

Don't have a dog but still want to fundraise for us by completing a walk? We'd love to hear from you! Email us.

About us

We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity.

We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer by championing early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer. However it shouldn’t be because it is treatable and curable especially if diagnosed early.

Nearly everyone survives bowel cancer if diagnosed at the earliest stage. However this drops significantly as the disease develops. Early diagnosis really does save lives.

Every 15 minutes someone is diagnosed with bowel cancer - that’s nearly 43,000 people every year, nearly 120 people every day. Your fundraising will help us continue to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
